My week 3 Reflection

Dear Donna and colleagues,

Thanks again, another great week full of knowledge and support from you Donna and all my colleagues. Iam feeling overwhelmed doing all my assingments for week 3. It was little bit hard but quiet interesting because i had the chance to experience something new to me and also gained alot from it.

I had the chance to share ideas with my colleagues about Oral /aural discussion which was basically about listeneing and pronunciation and i also had a great chance  creating Delicious page and sharing with my colleagues some of the useful sites about all the four skills of English that i can share on the other hand with my students and other teachers here in my country. It was not easy creating such a page but i just learnt from the week1 experience(creating blogs) and i felt very happy when i followed the instructions that were given made it through the page.

I found it also quiet interesting reading a project done by Aleyda and shring their points with the other participants. they discussed some useful points which i can use in my classes to make it more dynamic. Reading their project gave me a clear idea about what my project would be like and also motivated to the point that i cannot wait to create my own.

‘’The more you learn, the better you understand’’ looking forward to sharing more with you Donna and all my colleagues

  1. Hello Brahim,
Thank you for sharing your learning thoughts. I appreciate the positive energy conveyed through your post. When I am overwhelmed with work, I have trouble staying grateful and seeing all the work as an opportunity to learn.

  2. Hello Brahim,
I think we both agree on the fact that sharing ideas is one of the biggest strengths in this course. You've made big progress on this third post. Congratulations.

  3. Hello Brahim!

I do agree with you, Juan and Yiling that sharing with each other gets us better English teachers. This week's tasks have been a little bit challenging and motivating; reading final projects of previous course participant Ms Aleyda, for example, gives us a clear picture of what we are expected to do. And that Bookmarking on Delicious page, it's marvelous, helps us to find necessary materials as fast as possible we can.

  5. Hello Brahim,

Whenever I read your blog entries, I always learn a moral lesson. This third post of yours hasn´t been an exception. This time I learned that... It all comes down- as you and the rest of the bloggers said- to share the information with colleagues through professional development days. Thanks for sharing your insights on this topic . Best regards!

P.S. Good question Yaowapa. I asked the same question myself

  7. Hello Brahim
I agree with you. Just like you this week, I have learned a lot from aural/oral skills building using technology. Now I have in my mind a great deal of resources to work with in my futures lessons. I have never imagined how many resources we can find in the web, most of them are excellent, we just need to apply them in the English teaching and learning process. I am sure our student are going to enjoy a lot learning English through technological resources and as teachers I think we will have better results in their performance while we use these online tools.
