My name is Brahim Abdoulaye Thiam From Mauritania.
This the first is time ever I create a blog i used to hear about blogging and bloggers but i have never tried untill i get the chance to be selected in this course.
As far as what i saw blogs are not easy to create. it was bit hard for me because i spent alot of time trying to create and chose the template of my blogs. but i think blogs are really a way for speaking our minds out. And as a fresh teacher i alwys loved trying to teach my students using the new technologies. sometimes i tried to push them use the social networks so that they can intereact because people feel better sometimes when hidden behind their screens. I never thought of introducing them to blogs.
But after this wonderful discovery, i cannot wait to introduce it to them and help them get familiar with its use because iam sure through blogs i can do alot of things with my student. especially with the writing process. I also hade Journals: every students has a copybook in which they write everything they feel and those copybook are to be returned at the end of each week to the teacher to give feedbacks. and this can help them inprove their writing skill. so it would be best if we transform this to blog writing.
iam looking forward to hearing more from you.

I couldn´t agree more with you Brahim. The creation of the blog wasn´t an easy task. It would be much harder though to keep it updated. Hat off to you with your new initiative to make your students express their feelings and emotions on a digitalized format. Regards from your colleague and friend Angel from Paraguay.
ReplyDeletehello Angel thank you very much for your comment on my blog. indeed it was not easy for me to create it and i still have so many things left to understand but i really find it enjoying!! wish you the best of luck too!
DeleteHello Brahim,
ReplyDeleteIt is also my first experience to create a blog and it was indeed a little harder. I like your idea of empowering students' writing skills through the blog. Angel's worry whether we will be able to keep it updated is realistic. We go through busy schedule and we lack reliable internet access round the clock here in Nepal.
I hope to learn from you all!

Hi Brahim,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and Kiran from Nepal that creating a blosg has been challenging task. We need more time and experience to get it right and fell comfortable with it. I am still confused if I've created it right. We will see. If I had replies on my ndzharkinbaeva@blogspot.com then I did it right.
Well, concerning using blogs for teaching sharing and checking some assignments, then it is very convenient hi-tech tool. Also, some shy students can easily reply behind their screen with what I also agree.
Good luck to all of us.
Happy to share with you fellows on-line. Our boundaries have already enlarged.

Hello everyone!
ReplyDeleteIt's really cool to see your posts. I really like writing and sharing ideas. I look forward to reading more of your views.
Hello Brahim,
ReplyDeleteYour blog looks wonderful and I love the photo you added to your profile. While creating a blog may have been challenging, you accomplished the task beautifully! Well done.
Donna
thanks alot!
ReplyDeleteHello Brahim, Congratulations on your commitment with your students. I also think it is a great idea to involve our students in this new experience in order to learn together with them while trying out a different class tool. By the way, it would be nice if we could have our students exchange information about our countries. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteHi Brahim Abdoulaye,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, journey is always a pleasure to me. Whenever I go on a journey, my heart leaps up with joy. Soon I got an opportunity to make a journey by bus with my friends. I procured a ticket the day before. The seats of the coach were very comfortable. Luckily I had my sit by the window. It was a sunny morning. The bus started running at a good speed and soon we were far from the din and bustle of the city. We enjoyed beautiful geen fields, orchards and trees on the both sides of the highway. The bus was moving ahead leaving behind the trees, houses and small shops on either side of the road. It was really very delightful to see the green beauties of nature. The journey gave me much pleasure. It was one of the most memorable days in my life. I bore the journey in my heart.
Thanks
